half the lectures i attend are soo boring that you end up hating the subject let alone gain anything by listening.....but i still trudge to the classes daily to get my attendance marked. what do u think? should there be a seperate degree for doctors to qualify them to teach????????/ 😡

Try these simple ideas when u get bored in the classes: these are Tested and Proven methods!

1- sit in the backside seats, make a group of buddies in the whole class and humm a song- take care your lips dont move. when 15 people humm song together, it makes a good resonance in the class- and noone can know who is doing that!

2-practise making paper rockets- and try shooting them across the hall with the tip of your two fingers in an absolutely unnoticeable movement! it is possible.

3-ever tried blasting a Time Bomb in the class? it's easy- tie a regular Diwali Bomb to the distal end of an Agarbatti- and light the agarbatti and leave it on some backside benches of the class. it will blast in the middle of the 45 minute class. Then all in the class can just run out of the class in a havoc and stempede the teacher in the process!! Terrorism is the answer to tyranny!

4-simple- ask some jerk who never wants to miss a class to call "yes" when teacher calls your number!!

Gee Thanx!!!!!!! so many ideas!! i take it you are an MD in this specialisation? 👍

the only prob with idea no 1 is that i wont be able to get 15 conscious people in my whole class...classes and texts -the best soporifics known to mankind- no allergy,addiction or tolerance.

2 and 3 are a bit too disruptive for me. i like more passive stuff - like slee,sleep and sleep.

4 is the best but you can't always have someone scratch your back and not scratch back too..........the classes ain't too uncomfortable, esp with the a/c on and the curtains drawn,the soothing lullaby of the class just rocks you off to dreamland....

ah well, the rigors we have to go through to become a doctor.... 😴

Thanks Sunny! Have been bit busy lately. Now I'm an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics.

Grim- in my college we have Slanting- Auditorium type continuous raws for sitting in a 150 capacity class, so some of us with more Peaceful kind of nature could actually bring the Air-inflatable type pillows and take a nap- literally lying down without being noticed. You just have to be conscious for the time of the roll call.

one more thing to do is- Make a Caricature of the teacher in a note book, and circulate it by number in the whole class passing it under he benches- everyone is free to make a remark about the Art.

Anyway, the material is repeated so often that my subconscious mind has managed to pick up quite a bit of info. Happy belated Diwali.
