Is Bootcamp better than Crack the DAT for preparing for the RC and PAT section? It would great to hear from those who have used any of the above products/resources.
I'm currently using Bootcamp with Destroyer. While I have been working through the O-Chem, G-Chem, and Bio sections of Destroyer I have also been using the PAT generators on Bootcamp. They generate an unlimited amount of new cube counting, pattern folding, holepunches, angles, and TFE questions. Using these generators has definitely helped me get rather good at these sections but I have only taken one full PAT test on Bootcamp. I have taken 1 practice test from each category to asses how I would initially do on the DAT overall, I feel the bootcamp questions were easier than destroyer questions (destroyer seems to be a great way to prepare!). I want to hone all/most subjects before I take the rest of the practice tests so I can adequately gauge myself prior to taking the real DAT.
I cannot speak on the behalf of Crack the DAT.. but for me I feel:
Chads Videos & Quizzes + DAT Destroyer + Math Destroyer + Bootcamp + ADA practice Test will be enough!
The ada practice test I am speaking of is from: http://www.ada.org/~/media/ADA/Education and Careers/Files/dat_test_sampleitems.ashx
Are there more practice ADA tests?
In short... I think the generators are awesome! haha
Do you have a breakdown? How long were you studying for, some background, other study materials, etc?Bootcamp for RC and PAT.
Read two articles from Scientific American each day. Pretend like you actually give a **** about the passage and enjoy it. I remember a passage from the DAT: It was about Komodo Dragons.. It was awesome. Those ****ers will eat a couple times a month and puke it all up if they need to run like mad.
Practice PAT at least 30 minutes a day as well.
RC and PAT are skills you develop over time.. Not the week before.
I got a 25 AA and 23 PAT if you are wondering and I did what I said above.
The DAT is easy. Go get it brotha.
