So, Bootcamp has been adding bio videos to supplement their notes, but some chapters seem excessively long to me. For example, their condensed bio notes for the circulatory system is 5 pages, and their video series on the circulatory system is almost 2 and a half hours long.

Can anyone reflect on whether they thought the videos were necessary or excessive for the bio section? I've never taken a "true" anatomy course (besides what was covered in the general bio courses) so I was planning on going through all the videos, but honestly they seem more about depth than breadth and like it might be a waste of time.

I took the DAT last summer and reviewed through Bootcamp. Not sure where you're at in your college/overall career, but I'm a biology major and I definitely think that the notes were completely necessary! Don't underestimate the Bio section, although none of it is too technical, the range of possible material that they can pull questions from is definitely what makes this section difficult. Personally, I took notes on all of the Bootcamp outlined notes and also made flash cards and re-wrote all the notes. I also highly recommend buying the "Cliff's AP Biology" book as it seemed to cover almost the exact same material required for the test!

Ultimately, everyone studies differently and if you don't think that the notes will help, trust your own instincts. I would also recommend starting to take practice tests as early as possible (especially for bio) because you may realize that some of the areas you thought you were prepared for need some reviewing.
