I have my DAT in 12 days on June 18th and am freaking out a bit. I just did the my first bootcamp exam and had the scores as follows:

BIO/GCHEM/OCHEM/PAT
21/18/18/18

Biology was ok, but an 18 in general and organic chemistry is really low. The PAT, I ran out of time but haven't studied it too much.

How do these scores relate to the overall actual DAT?

One exam for each subject is a rather small sample size, but in general people tend to score 2-3 points higher on the actual DAT than on Bootcamp.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't bought bootcamp yet, just using the free tests. Was just wondering if to go forward with bootcamp or if it will just freak me out haha

You should definitely get Bootcamp, especially since you said you haven't done much PAT. The random generators are AWESOME and is helping me get 100% consistently on cube counting and hole punch. You won't find a better solutions explanation with any other test prep resource! I even pester Ari (SORRY ARI!) with questions on the exams and he gets back to you within a day! Kaplan couldn't even do that (and it costed 14x more... X_X)

Also, I feel like Bootcamp is a little hard (Gen Chem and QR mainly) so don't get too discouraged. But I also wouldn't bank on scoring "2-3 points higher" on the real thing. Stay positive, keep at it, be diligent and efficient in your studies and you should be fine! 21 Bio is pretty good! 😀

Ok my updated scores:
BIO/GCHEM/OCHEM/PAT
21/18/18/18
18/19/17/19 (was distracted)
21/24/21/19

I can't seem to bring my PAT score up as I tend to always run out of time on bootcamp. How does the real DAT compare to bootcamp PAT? ie. is a 19 in PAT for bootcamp a decent score?

From what I remember when I took it the first time it is more difficult than the real deal. Keyhole on it is very close though, especially how its more proportions than flipping and reversing it like on CDP. TFE on the real DAT is like a combo btw CDP and BC. Angles.... their angles. HP was similar especially the generator one. Pattern folding was same style as BC, not shades and color patterns like CDP has. I just did first PAT test on BC and got a 18 too. On the real thing I got a 21 when I took it. Unfortunately I got screwed in Bio so having to retake again.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully, I can manage at least a 20 on the real thing!
