Hi, I just completed a RC practice test on Bootcamp and was wondering how well my score would correlate to the actual test? I got a 25, and out of the few questions I missed, there were maybe 1 or 2 that weren't just silly mistakes. Out of experience, how much more studying should I put into this section, because I have not this well on many of the other sections?

Thanks!

Bootcamp's RC was much harder than my DAT's RC. I'd still keep studying because not everyone has the same dat experience

I also thought the actual DAT RC was much easier than Bootcamp. If you're already scoring a 25, I'd start focusing my study efforts on other parts of the exam.

I did about 4 RC test using Bootcamp and went from 15-17-19-19. I've never been an avid reader and generally take longer to read than the avg person. With that being said, I ended up saying f it and just stopped caring about the RC and focused on other areas to study.

Today, I took the real DAT without doing any RC practice for the past month or two, and ended up finishing it about 5 minutes early and got a 19 on it.

My method; I walked into the test room after getting hype on some trap music during my break to help boost my confidence/mood and then did straight Search & Destroy. Granted the first passage was about 1/2 S&D, the second was almost all S&D (thank you, Jesus), and the third was terrible with barely any S&D.
I didn’t fully read any passage, just went straight to the questions and used key words in them to scan the passages with. I also guessed on a few that just seemed too time consuming.
So if you’re like me, and just want to wing it with S&D, be careful. I probably could have done better if I practiced a more balanced method for tackling the RC but at the same time it’s really easy to plateau with your RC scores. I feel like it’s one of those things where you either have it or you don’t (I clearly don’t compared to others).

Ended up getting a 19AA if that makes my reply mean anything to you guys.
