I'm one of those average students that doesn't really have much to say on the personal statement.

i didn't win a Grammy or Oscar or find a cure for alzheimers, like some of the superstars on SDN.......

it's ok right? The personal statement doesn't matter that much? Average kids get into decent residencies huh?

I'm no mathmetician, but I would think that "average student" = most students....or is that the "mean student"?

Remember, residency has much less interest in "non medical" extracurriculars compared to med school admissions. So they're less likely to care how you used to be a prima ballerina in New York before applying. Try to emphasize the things they want in a good worker: drive, commitment, dependability etc.
