I was planning on applying to Boston because I thought it was one of the easier schools to get in to because of it being an expensive private school, similar to an NYU sorta thing. However I was reading this: http://***********/the-guide-applying-to-dental-schools/

And saw that it said not to apply to Boston if you don't have research experience, which I don't. I haven't heard this anywhere else though, does anyone know how much truth there is to it? I don't want to waste my money applying to a school which I don't have a shot at, but on the flipside if this isn't true I don't want to miss out on applying to a school which is otherwise relatively easy to get in to.

Could anyone chime in maybe who has gotten accepted to Boston without research experience, or has any opinion or information on the subject?

I had no research experience during undergrad, and I will be starting at BU in a few weeks. They actually asked me about research in my interview and I was a TA for an intro microbiology lab so I used that as my answer.

Interesting, thanks. Maybe I'll leave it in.
