Question to every one out there I was looking at the pharmacy school in Boston and they are the same as the one in Worchester and Manchester. I talked to the school today and found out the differences between the schools and was told I can only apply to one specific school and I am trying to find out my chances at each school. So any advice as to which school I will have a better chance at. Please let me know

boston mainly take people right out of hs. both schools only accept university credits for prereqs.

That's not true. While I do have a BS degree, there were a few prereqs I never took in college and had to complete at the local community college 5 years after graduating and deciding I wanted to go to pharmacy school. I'm just wrapping up my 2nd year at the Worcester campus, and I know several classmates who did the same thing.

Of course, it makes sense that they would prefer university credits over someone who soley did their credits at a CC, but I think that's true of every school out there.

GPA 3.8 or 3.9 (I honestly don't remember, I graduated college in 2000 and so it was not a big deal to me anymore when applying to schools for 2005)
PCAT 99
NO pharmacy experience, no volunteer experience, but I was a little older and had a lot of work experience and some grad school and TA-ing under my belt.
But, this was a few cyles ago in the admissions process, I don't know if it's applicable today.

welll duh! 😀 Of course they're gonna accept you because your gpa is way upthere. They specifically told me cc college people hvae to average about.20 higher than univesity poeple and that successful applicants have had university credits over jc.

But that's not the same thing as saying "they only take university credits." They'll take them from a CC as long as you make yourself competitive and don't just do the bare minimim.
