Actually this isn't too far fetched. The same thing happened to Georgetown Dental. I'm am just shocked that the info isn't posted on their website.

I received an application confirmation dated Oct. 3, it said applications will be reviewed after Oct. 30. Thats all ive heard though.

Don't let them pull your chain. These things just don't happen ovenight. Even though Northwestern eventually closed, it was after a lengthy deliberation involving all stake holders, and matriculated students were allowed to finish the program over a four year ramp-down. BU is not ENRON.

i am laughing and seriously i was soooooo confused as to why jaap (who is gotten some good rep here) was finally wrong.
it is really sad that we can't find something better to do on a sat other than sdn. thank god we don't get any mail on sun so i can spend the whole day observing my church (football) and not worry about who got what.

I think Rezdawg was trying to alleviate some of that anxiety you refer to. The application process is getting to us all, let's not let the stress wind us up into lifeless, humorless, anal SDN pre-dental freaks!

I was being cynical when I titled the thread "Does BU still exist?" I didn't mean did the college literally exist. Of course it does! Beings that I have called there a number of times with no answer and no correspondance by mail, I wondered if something was up. Or if others have had the same problem. That is why I made the post. Not so I could be jerked around by a couple of guys with nothing better to do. So give me a break Rezdawg. I guess I expected more from a 21 on RC.
Although that isn't the answer I was going for, what you and jaap said has happened in the past (exept being deferred to NW to finish). Programs haven't been shut down in the past due to lack of funding (Georgetown). I was expecting to hear that they don't send out post cards or that they have a new phone #.
