According to Doc's typed up version of the dental school guide, Upenn's OOS tuition (plus living, I think?) is $397,431 while Boston is $338,512. But after going to each individual website, they both have similar annual tuition costs (66K vs 64K) and pretty identical instrument fees, clinical fees, etc.

When it all adds up, is there a reason why Boston is designated as being 60K cheaper than Upenn when in reality it seems like they are both almost the same cost? The numbers just don't seem to add up right....

Any words of wisdom are appreciated. Thanks!

These two schools undergo consistent tuition hikes leading to some discrepancies in the data. Both schools run about 410k+ (all inclusive costs).

Each school requires different things. Some schools will require you to buy your equipment/books/materials while others will allow you to rent.

Living costs differ.

etc etc etc.
