Either it's late and I'm losing it or I'm finding things in destroyer gchem that doesn't make sense.

Destroyer draws Br2O as Br-O-Br

BUT the most electronegative element is suppose to be in the center (basic chem rule)

so why the hell isn't it Br-Br=O
It looks weird yes but it goes with the least EN in middle rule

O is more electronegativity than Br.

I cannot sleep either

i just woke up but only slept 3 hours cuz i need to go to school. bah...i need more of summer.

he is right. And this is a pretty important concept. In addition, I am too lazy to draw it out, but I'm pretty sure that Br in the centre will have a charge.. which the molecule Br2O does not have... so your structure is wrong.

Proof: the reason why N O and F hydrogen bond is because they are the most electronegative elements.

I dunno which rule is right, but I want to disagree that this is even a rule at all, because I can think of multiple exceptions to both of these just sitting here.

How about SO3H or SO4(2-)
O is more electronegative than S...ignore that rule. Go with your gut always.

Sorry, I wasn't thinking straight when I wrote this.

Its suppose to be the LEAST electronegative in the middle

CH4...C is more electronegative but is in the middle.
Let go of the rule 🙂
