Hi,
Is it important to memorize the anatomy of brain and the functions of each part?
My TPR book has two pages of cerebrum, cerebellum, RAS, forebrain, midbrain etc.

its not a very important topic, and likely will not show up, but it wouldn't hurt to learn. it is a possibility you get a stand alone question asking about it.

just make flashcards and put the general function on teh back. you dont need the nitty gritty details. something like this will be more than enough:

temporal - hearing/smell
occipital - vision
cerebellum - balance/equilibrium
parietal - sensory information

etc. etc. make sure you break up the brainstem into its 3 parts since they all have different functions.
