break in education?

I took spring 2006 off because i went on vacation (out of U.S.) Do i need to put that on secondary application. I didnt put that on AADSAS under... Has your education ever been interrupted or affected adversely for reasons other than deficiencies in conduct or academic performance. I said no and i already submitted application.

I am filling out Upenn secondary & there is a question about education break which says.....if there was a break in your education (other than the normal school vacations) please explain fully your occupation or activities during that time. Should i write about that vacation?

I didnt put that on AADSAS...so I am just worried that they might think i lied on AADSAS or something. I just thought that they were asking about break due to serious reasons like family member got sick/died or money issues etc

any help will be appreciated thanks!

no upenn would just assume you forgot to include it. that's what i felt the whole point of the suppl application was.

Go ahead and put it on the supplemental. I don't think it's a big deal. I also think the question "Has your education ever been interrupted or affected adversely for reasons other than deficiencies in conduct or academic performance?" was asking about more about things that adversely affected your education, and not necessarily about vacations or gaps in your education. I think you were right to answer no to that, and that the supplemental application is asking something a little different and you can go ahead and talk aout taking time off there.
