Personally, I thought it was a HARD test... maybe I just didn't study enough but there was a crapload of ID stuff on there that I wasn't expecting. I'd know your bugs and viruses. The particular test I had wasn't very OB heavy, but I've heard of people in the past c/o a lot of that stuff. I took medicine much earlier in the year so I thought that test was hard, but in my book family was much much worse!

The nbme website has a breakdown for each shelf....beyond that, I'm no help.

I thought that the FP shelf was really easy, but it was my last shelf, and I had already take IM, Peds, Ob/Gyn, Psych, Surgery, etc, so it was like a little review of all of those, just not in as much depth.

I'm going to be a new 3rd year real quick, and fam med is my 1st rotation. Can someone suggest some good question books? I looked for a Pretest for family but there isn't one. What do you use for practice questions besides the test in BluePrints? Thanks
