Aug 14 test date. Took FL1 a couple days go and got 129/125/128/129 for 511. Little disappointed but after reviewing, majority of questions i got wrong due to misinterpretation of passage info or qstem. Any tips? Also, about 3 weeks out so should i start on the section banks?
Yes ik my CARS is dog but i've been grinding the qpacks and heavily reviewing them. Not sure what else i can do to up that one

I feel your pain. My fist MCAT was 132, 122, 132, 130. I didn't put much effort into CARS and it showed. I was hoping for the gods to shine upon me and scoot by with a 126. Didn't happen. My FL practice exams hinted that CARS was going to be a problem, although 122 was shockingly low at the time.

My second time, CARS jumped to 127. I started earlier and spent way more time on AAMC questions, doing everyone of them at least twice. I overanalyzed every passage from them and walked into my test with their style in mind. I used different materials the second time (took a class too), but I really think the difference maker was focusing on AAMC.

For the other sections, the only way to break 130 is to do literally thousands of passage-based questions and review everyone one of them. TBR books are the best resource for C/P and B/B passages. uworld and TPR are the best resources for P/S. Do every AAMC question you find.

managed to get 130 on both C/P and B/B today on AAMC!!! But CARS is at 124-125. I've been going through the AAMC qpacks but only doing 2 passages a day but i guess imma have to hit it harder and then go through a second time with extensive review. Does this sound good?
