within mere days of the exam and was trying to figure out my timing/breaks for exam day. my questions are as follows.

1. i know we can "skip" the tutorial, but does skipping mean that there will be an option to click and literally skip it, or does this mean we can "skip" it by clicking through it really fast?

2. when we take our breaks, are we required to leave the testing room? in other words, can we take a ~1 minute breather from our seat (without starting a new section right away) and then continue on as we wish?

thanks to everyone for all your advice. cheers.

1. there will be a botton for you to click to skip the whole tutorial. (somewhere on the lower left hand side - I think...)

2. you are not required to leave the testing room. you can sit for a minute. infact, i would suggest you clicking break everytime! because if not, the test will start in 30 sec. you cannot go back to break once the new block start.

👍

Actually if you dont make a decision within 30 seconds it automatically goes to an authorized break, it doesnt start the next block. At least thats what it did to me

👍 hmm i guess i didn't let any of my 30 sec. run out to decide.
go with cubsrule4e, he/she is probably correct!

Probably of no real consequence, but can you "strike through" answer choices like on q-bank? (like cross out certain ones that you see are wrong). Thanks!

thanks for the replies. one more question, if you take a 1 minute break from your seat, do you have to re-enter your authorization code to continue again? i would assume so, but just checking...

anytime you are on an official break and the break screen is up, you will have to re enter your ID number

It works more like UW. That is, the answers become low lighted after you highlight them with the cursor, but they do not get a line through them like QBank. To me that is essentially the same thing, but just thought I would clarify.

fyi-- you can go through the tutorial in less than 15 minutes, so you can still go through the tutorial quickly if youre nervous about using the software without losing all of that break time. I used about 7 minutes to calm my nerves, etc and then started the test.

Thanks TB! On a side note, I just read my post and realized how lame/dorky it was. Can't wait to get back to real life post-beast.
