I had a roommate who did it. She said she loved it, and was trying to get me to apply, but I live too far away.

I would've done it, but applying seemed really complicated and I didn't feel like going into Boston every week. If you're feeling ambitious, go for it.

Seems pretty cool from what I read. Wish I had access to such opportunities.

I know two people that are doing it. Apparently you go through several rotations through different departments. After you're done, you meet with a coordinator of sorts and he asks you where you think you would fit best, etc.

If you want to PM me, I can put you in touch with one and you can ask him what he thinks.

thanks for the input!!!
so how useful was the rec letter they write...?? it's sorta weird for them to write a rec letter and i'm a bit confused as to what they even include in it.

and also, bwh is a bit on the far side for me. what would you guys say is the advantage of this program over just simply volunteering at mgh, which is wayy more convenient for me?

twotired. Did you have to take a drug-test to participate in this program? I'm attending an orientation soon and hope to enroll.

as part of the orientation or application process was a drug test required. I will be joining the program this summer and am curious. Thanks!
