Maimonides: I heard they still use paper charts, residents see a lot of patients, very busy clinic, and last time I heard they were taking q1-2 calls b/c of the switch from trauma 2 to trauma 1 center
Woodhull: I heard you don't really do much, they have a lot of government funding so lots of supplies, calls are once a month or so, very relaxed, laid back, may not learn much..?
Wyckoff: I know the most about wyckoff out of the three. It's a new program. moderately busy. Calls are once or twice a month, calls aren't bad b/c it's a trauma 2/3 center.. I heard the program director is crazy though in that she is very condescending and rude to the residents, threatens/gives out multiple saturday calls for minor mistakes, doesn't really teach. I heard residents including the general dentistry resident really dislike her. She's buddy buddies with the gp director who's also very similar. One of the pediatric attendings who has been there for ages, is very old, oldschool. Yells at patients as "behavior management", and takes one too many smoke breaks and reeks of cigarette smell. A lot of parents don't want to be seen by her due to her behavior. Also buddy buddies with the director, obviously.

i think all programs have their pros and cons, just a matter of choosing which poison lol

I know that Wyckoff pays the most out of all the NY residencies..
I have friends who did their peds residency at Interfaith and had an absolutely horrible experience, but maybe it changed since then?
