Hey, we are taking applicants for 2008-2009 Intern and Pgy II (first yr ortho) spots. We are a Osteopathic program, at a very busy Level 1 trauma center. The only DO program that is . Currently we take one per yr, so trust me, as a first year you will see alot of OR. In my Pgy 2 yr i Logged over 350 cases. We have fellowship trained attendings in Hand, trauma, joints, sports, and Peds. Get in touch for rotation info.

intern yr will be probly half ortho, half regular rotating internship stuff

Wow is that a DO thing? Half ortho in first year would be amazing. I know most programs have a significant number of gen surg months.

Seriously. I get 3 months. Three f*cking months. The rest is trauma, medicine, ER, and all sorts of other crap that puts me to sleep.

its probly more like 3 months, they have just started to link the internship residecny for this next yr so we will see,
