OK. I've got 6 days to go, should I hit BRS Pathology again or, because many who have taken it say that it is more PROCESS than BUZZWORD oriented, should I buy and read Pathophysiology for the Boards and Wards?

i wouldn't recommend using a new book being that close to the test. but heck, go for it if you feel like it. i heard good things about that book as well. i heard medicine recall was good too.

If youve been through BRS path minimum twice cover to cover, you should try Pathophys. The book is small, but it is mostly bullet points to jog your memory and help you make connections. But 6 days before the test? Try to hammer Pathophys out in 1.5 days or less. If youre running out of time, at least look at the "Zebras" in appendix B, and some of the pictures. Pick out the classic associations. Its a good book, but a pain in the ass if you want to master it. All Im giving that book is about 2.5 days worth after I crank through BRS path.

Legion.

NEITHER. Just took it.
I think BRS path is overkill and Wards is for the wards.

I would maximize FA and q bank. If time is left over, do some very concentrated HY neuro, micro (virus, worms), biochem (yes, sadly).

My test didn't come close to touching my path knowledge (not that I didn't get some wrong, of course) and I didn't even bother with BRS. Everyone thinks it is necessary but it was not on my test.
