WTF?

besides the autonomics (which is good), does anyone else read this chapter and feel like giving up like i do? i mean, seriously, the sensory stuff just seems like a bit overkill to me.

anybody feel the same way? anyone know how much i *really* need to know . .. ?

haha i read tht chapter yesterday and definitely ave up towards the end....moved onto cardio, prob not a good strategy1

The sensory stuff in that chapter is overkill. I don't believe I had a single question asking about any of the specific snesory things. Don't stress too much over it- definitely low yield.

yeah Chapter 2 is a killer. Especially when you start reading about the spinothalamic tracts and what not. I mean this is great when you have taken neuro but when you want to review physiology, i'm pretty sure you don't want to read about tracts among many other things. You would be better off just reviewing 6/7 chapters in that book.

Just put a postit there, and come back to it when you're reviewing neurophys and neuroanatomy. It's a great chapter, even though it's kind of odd where it is.

yeah, seems like HY neuro would be a better source for the anatomical aspects mentioned in BRS.

costanzo is good . . .but she needn't mention rubrospinal ciliary ganliomossy something or others . . . and i actually LIKE neuro . . . .

anyway, thanks for the feedback guys. glad to know my intuition was somewhat on track about this

I got through half of that chapter and skipped the rest. I'm going to do HY neuro/FA neuro at the end of this week and I think that will be enough.
