Does anyone know if at Boston University you get your own exam chair for your 3rd and 4th year?
 
No, you dont get your own.
 
that kindof stincks...is there a struggle to get a chair during clinical periods?

In talking to a 3rd year, he told me that getting a chair time wasnt a problem.

Other than Case and probably a few other schools, its not common practice for students to have their own chairs.

I know several other schools where you share patients. And as long as you stay on top of it and are proactive you should have no problem.

I know at UCLA there is a drawback to the school in terms of getting a lot of patietns. There are several other d-schools in the greater LA area and Westwood is not the most underserved area but if you stay on top of it there should be no problems finishing all the graduation requirements.

Other schools, like Arizona, have a great thing going. They are the only school in the whole state and there is a very large underserved Indian population. There getting patients is not even an issue.

We dont share patients here...all students have their own patients that they tend to. I was just referring to chairs...students dont have a designated chair that is solely theirs.
