Wow your grades are awesome...All I can say is take a MCAT prep course. Paying a lot $$$ for a SMP just to prep for the MCAT is not worth it. Unless if you really need the research experience then maybe. But don't take a SMP just to prep for the MCAT.

1 MCAT prep class = $1,500

1 Year BU MAMS = $50,000

I suggest you do the MCAT prep class - hell, pay for a 1-on-1 tutor which through Kaplan is like $3k I think... It's still infinitely cheaper than doing an SMP

Unless you get a 4.0, the SMP would not help you very much and even with a 4.0 its benefit would be marginal.

Your best bet is to retake the MCAT, dedicate A LOT of time to it, at least around 3 months. If you raise your score to at least a 30, you are a lock to get in somewhere

Even if the OP researched the best private MCAT tutor in the country, flew to that tutor, rented a place in the area while he/she studied, and paid that tutor for 1-on-1 tutoring, it would cost about half of what BU MAMS is for a year.

Can't tell if this is a troll or a very ... nvm

Pretty much

SMPs are never the way to fix a poor MCAT
