Hi SD,

Sorry for the somewhat repeated post and I know there are similar comparisons, but I need to make a decision as soon as possible and want as much feedback as possible concerning my "specific case". I had plans to attend BU's MAMS but just got accepted to the Georgetown SMP program this morning.

I had a 3.35 cGPA / 3.4 Science GPA and a 29P MCAT (7VR / 11BS / 11PS). The only thing that is tempting about BU's program is that if I have to retake the MCAT after the program, I can complete it in 2 years rather than having to find something to do following the SMP.

Does either program carry more prestige? I am going to apply this cycle and will mostly reach out "broadly" spanning the mid-teir schools. Is there any shot of matriculating in 2013Fall pending an exceptional performance in the GU SMP?

Again, any information will be apprecited!!! Thanks so much.

Where'd
you do your undergrad? What was your major?

Hmm...a hard call. I'd say give the admissions counselors and call and talk your situation over with them. Good luck!
