BU MAMS vs. UMDNJ

Hey everyone -

So sorry to start another thread about something that may/may not already have been discussed but I'm going crazy and cannot decide between the two programs so I wanted to get opinions (I have to decide by the end of the weekend). Where would you go between BU MAMS and UMDNJ?

I've been reading all the posts I can find on SDN about the two programs and still can't decide so I wanted to see if anyone had any other thoughts, specifically in comparing the two programs or if any of you made a similar decision.

My thoughts between the two programs from what I've heard/read on SDN:
(could be not true - so correct me if I'm wrong?)

--BU MAMS is more well-known over UMDNJ's program (?? I don't even know if this is true..just what I gauged)
--BU MAMS offers more medical school classes over UMDNJ
--UMDNJ is cheaper than BUMC (and if they are similar, why not save money?)
--BUMC is directed more towards getting people into medical school (whereas UMDNJ does want to get people in to professional school but is also a masters program for phd etc.) - this could be way off, just my impression from the websites for the two schools

Do any current students have any thoguhts they could share about either of their programs? Specifically the difficulty level of the classes? Or does anyone know any statistics for UMDNJ's acceptance rate ofr their master students into medical school?

Are you a NJ resident? If you are not, I think BU MAMS would be a better choice. Although BU MAMS cost more than UMDNJ, I think it has a better success rate. It could be different if you are a NJ resident.
