BU requires stats?

The BU website says:

Math including calculus and statistics 2 semesters (6-8 credits) or 3 quarters

• Advanced Placement credits will be accepted if the degree-granting institution awarded college credit toward the bachelor’s degree.
• At least one calculus course is required.
• A statistics course will fulfill the second mathematics course requirement.

Does this mean that the second math class must be stats or can 2 calc classes fulfill this requirement.
