I just got accepted into BU, and I really think I'd like to go there. I just wanted to get a feel for how current students there (all years) liked it.

Specifically, one of the dental students at another interview I went to asked me if it was true that Boston students had to find their own patients in clinic. I told him I wasn't sure, but that it would be a good thing for me to find out. So, how about it?

And for that matter, how is the clinic there? We never got to see much of it during the interview , something that other schools liked to show off. Facilities/technology decent?

They will distribute patients for you but it's pretty unfair or uneven. By graduation time, one student may already have 40 crowns done while another student may just have 4 so their graduation is delayed. The school used to allow students to bring in any one family member for free treatment to help you out with requirement. Asian students brought in their black uncle and white students brought in their long-lost asian stepsister; and then school severely restricted that program. I would recommend another school but if that's your only choice then you can't be choosy.

How about the clinic facilities themselves? And is Boston up-to-date with their technology (e.g. digital x-rays and charts, etc.)?
