umm did you look into your folder? there should be a packet with housing options.. they're pretty good. (theres always shuttles running that can pick you up and bring you to the bus stop, where you can then take the bus to go to south... this probably will take about 20 mins in total., saves you a lot of gas money) i go to buffalo as an undergrad and not many people live in south (where the dental school is) and most live on north, which is much safer. Theres SO many near campus apartments that are not affiliated with the school that are pretty. Such as Sweet Home, The Villas.. etc. Its about a 13 minute car ride to south if you don't mind the commute.

Once the orientation web site is up, there will be more detailed information for you. I wouldn't jump at the places that are listed in the packet.
