I am trying to find a 2 bedroom apartment (or condo) in a very safe location (i guess, north of South Campus, (but not too far from the dental school)) and where heat is included in the rent. The rent price range about $800 - $1200 for 2 bedrooms. Not a run-down place. Ideally, a 10 month lease, as well.
Any ideas?

Heat included is not easy to find. there is a place called "The triad" but i lived there and you do not want to live there lol. The apartment is nice but the complex is smelly and loud because of the undergrads. I hated the landlord, Cindy. I'm doing my undergrad in Buffalo right now and I live in a graduate complex called "The Flickinger Court" (my friend is a grad student so i get to live there 😀), a university apartment. Very nice, and quiet. The rent is 1000 and heat and electricity when added together is about 200 total during the winter 😀. I prefer this place because it's nice and quiet away from fraternity houses. A bit pricier but it is in your $1200 range. When searching for off campus apartments, there are many nice ones. Just got to be careful of the "slum lords". South campus of course is less safe than North but cheaper rents. also when choosing houses in south campus be careful (the house maybe cheap but man the heat can really kill you).

Forgot to mention flickinger court is a townhouse with two bedrooms 😀.. Very nice and clean.

i'm currently cringing at how many bedrooms you get for 800-1200 dollars

I want to live off campus. Not in the on-campus apartments.
And by 1200 i meant for two bedrooms.... hence $600 per bedroom.
So where do you recommend please?

that is for two people. 1000 for rent of two bedrooms + 200 for electricity/gas per month during winter.
U want a place that includes heat. That's realy difficult to find cause UB is "cold" all winter long and not many places can afford to pay that. u can find cheap places all around north campus and use the rest of the money to pay for heat. Literally all over.
