for those that interviewed at Buffalo, what do you know about the alternate list......is everyone put on it, or do they actually reject some people....is there any way of finding out what position you are on it (i was told "no").... do many student matriculate from the alternate list?

Hey Lundon, I met you at the Buffalo interview. I am out of state as well. My status still says "interview applicant." Does yours say "alternate"? I contacted the admissions, they told me that they didn't know about the status on my file and told me to check back. I am patiently waiting.

I was waitlisted at Buffalo. I called the school, and they said that they will not look at the waiting list until may.

I interviewed on 1/5 and called on 1/9 for my status. Barbara told me that I was accepted. The status online has not been updated yet. I would call and speak with Barbara to find out your status.

at my interview they did say they have rejected people. i don't know if that means from interviews or just from the applicant pool.

Is Buffalo still accepting people for the incoming class or is the rest of the interviews for the wait list only? My interview is next week and I'd like to know how far along they are in filling their class. 🙂

epoh, what's your real name, so i can recall who you are! But, on the website my status says "alternate". I called barbara and she said they don't disclose information as to where students are on the alternate list. You should probably just call her, so your application resurfaces to the top of their piles. I getting the vibe that i won't get accepted there because i'm an Ohio resident!
