We’ve spent the last several months building something we wish we had earlier in our own journeys through medicine.
For too long, mentorship and support in this space have felt like they exist behind closed doors — limited to who you know, where you go, or whether you’re lucky enough to ask the right question at the right time. It’s no surprise that so many students and young physicians feel like they’re figuring it out alone.
Pulse was born from that gap — from the conversations we’ve had with premeds wondering how to get a foot in the door, med students looking for real-world advice, and residents trying to offer help but not knowing where to start.
We’re not just building a tool. We’re building a space where those conversations can finally live — openly, accessibly, and across every stage of the medical journey.
As we prepare for what’s next, we’re inviting a final round of Pulse Pioneers — early users who believe in the value of mentorship, of paying it forward, and of helping build the kind of community we all wish existed sooner.
