Hey guys,

When do the bulk of interviews and travelling occur for fellowship match?

I am trying to decide my third year schedule.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Every single subspecialty has a thread from last year with information about interview dates. Find your specialty, look in the thread...profit.

I reviewed the hem/onc thread before posting.
It lists the dates the interview offers were sent out.

I just wanted an idea when people travel the most:

September or October?

I do not want to schedule an important rotation during that time. That's all.

Yes. Pick one. October's probably better.

My first interviews were in late-August, and spaced out until Mid October. The bulk of them I put in a vacation I took the last week of September/first week of October.

Really, just pick a few week block in there and you'll probably be able to schedule most of your interviews during that time. Then you'll have to beg/steal/lie/cheat for the extra days off you need for the random additional interviews that you couldn't fit in.
