Hey guys, I was just wondering how long it takes for schools to get secondaries to you. AACOMAS said they released my app on 7/30 but i have only received 3 secondaries so far - CCOM, DMU, and LECOM. How long do the schools generally take to screen applicants and send their secondaries? I think one of the schools I applied to sends secondaries to all applicants. I haven't received anything from this school!

Also, how long does a school generally take to process a completed application and decide on interview invitations? If I send out my secondaries in sep. then when i can expect to hear back from the school about interviews?

It's been like 7 days, don't worry. Some of my secondaries didn't come in until a month or two after I was verified. Depends on how backed up different admin offices are.

Processing also depends on the school. Some, I knew about interviews within a couple weeks. Others, I'm still waiting to hear. ;-)

The applications are sent twice from AACOMAS. The first time the send them electronically to all the schools and then they send them via snail mail. So the schools should get the applications pretty quick after AACOMAS says they released them to the schools. If I remember right, it does take a little while for the schools to send out secondaries. I'd say it's usually within a month each for secondaries and interview invites. If more time passes than that you should call the school and check the status of your app. I didn't hear from LECOM-Br for a long time and when I called it turned out that they hadn't updated my file when my rec's came so it was incomplete in their system. Got the invite within the week after that.
