While I completely understand all sorts of burn out, I would point out that if many people are all burning out at the same time there might be common factors like semester loading and maybe, perhaps, some seasonal changes responsible for part of this.

I never bought that term. People would report that often never had a fire to begin with. I love the energy of the job and others.
