After getting my Masters, I decided I wanted to apply to medical school. I took Chem 1 in undergrad, but that was several years ago (I got a B) so I decided to take it again at the local community college as a refresher. I';m taking a 6 week class that meets for 5 hours a night, 3 days a week. Working full time and taking this class at night has left me exhausted with little time and energy to study (I don't know how some of you do it, props) Needless to say, I got a C on my first test. If this continues, I'm thinking about withdrawing from the class. I'm allowed to withdraw the day before the 6th and final week. And even ifI do, the class will have serveed its's purpose, as a refresher course.

My question is....If I decided to withdrawl from the class, do I have to send this transcript when I apply to medical school? This will be the only class I took at a CC, my other prerequisites I'm taking at a 4-year university this fall/spring. And I've already taken this course before.

Thanks!

Yes, you have to send this transcript; you always have to send a transcript from any college you've ever attended, period, even if you never completed a class there.

Thanks for the advice.

In that case, what looks better? Getting a C, or a W?

W.

And you just say that you took it as a refresher, as you said. It may have been slightly better to go P/F from the get-go, but it's a small thing.
