Wow. Did not think butterfly is worth this much.
I mean it isn't. I doubt a single person at glenview capital has ever used an ultrasound for anything besides a photo op. The on the ground reality is that the portability makes it too easy to lose and the resolution is vastly inferior to a real ultrasound device for any serious adoption beyond the pet project purchase of someone with cme funds to burn on a cool toy.
Anyone notice Butterfly had funding from the Gates foundation. Makes sense since a low cost ultrasound could have a bigger impact in low resource settings.

So if you voted for Trump you should get a Butterfly?The biggest growth market for Butterfly and others is poor-resourced areas. It is never going to replace the Cadillac Sonosite, but in rural/3rd world countries it can be handy.
