I am looking to buy a solo practice. I have read other posts which state that if you are purchasing a practiceyou may be able to tTae over insurance contracts of the practice. I have been advised that I should get a new tax id number instead of using the current pod's ID number. Does anyone know if I get a new tax id number will I still be able to transfer insurance contracts to myself?
