I accidentally bought an instructors guide of the textbook of a class I'm going to take next semester. One of the boxes I accidentally checked was "I certify that I am an instructor and will not distribute to students" (honestly I didn't read this the first time; I just checked it off thinking it was some random send me offers/deals thing". Do you think I will get in trouble with the publishing company for this? This was an online version of the book and the site didn't ask for any identifying info that would distinguish me as a professor/teacher (didn't ask for institution, class name/title, or department etc). It only asked me why I'm buying it and I answered that I'm a student who would like to do the problems and also get the answers so I can see if I did them right. Could I get in trouble for this because I said I was a student but I checked off the box saying I'm an instructor? Help please I'm very worried or am I just being really paranoid?
