Has anyone bought a stethoscope, oto-opthalmoscope online? And if so, from what website? Are there any good websites for buying medical supplies in general?

I purchased my stethoscope from AllHeart.com. They also carry oto- and ophthalmoscopes. The prices are reasonable and they have a large selection of med supplies in general. I haven't been disappointed yet.

I got my supplies from Steeles.com. Their selection is a bit more limited than AllHeart but they have the major brands and better prices.

I got mine from Steeles - as noted above, less inventory than Allheart but I thought the prices were better and the service was great.

i got my stethoscope from allheart.com, but i bought my oto/optho kit from the rep that came to our school. the rep had better prices on the diagnostic kit and allheart had better prices on the steth. if your school has an equipment sale day, it might be worth seeing what deals they're offering first.

Good advice - check with the upper levels at your school and see if you can do without. Every clinic I've been in has them hanging on the walls and if I needed one on the wards, while it was a pain to find them, it was worth the several hundred dollars I could have saved had I not bought one (I still have it...I should try and sell it to a gullible medical student! 😉 )
