To me, the residents seemed really really nice. It was hard to meet people at the dinner because a small apt was crammed full for applicants, but my feeling is that a sizeable number came. The faculty were amazing too from what I could tell. As nice as the residents were, they admitted to being tired and it was obvious that they push the envelope on the 80-hr work week (if not completely bust out of the envelope!).

I think it is an amazing program if you want to go into an academic career and the faculty seems pretty supportive. Ive heard the residents are not that overworked and they are treated well I dont know how much surgical experience they get but they say it is enough.
