For whatever reason, every single interaction I’ve had with anyone hiring for CDCR (including some of their supervising psychiatrists) has always been something a little short of misleading and disorganized. Either their telework positions (even overnights) are really, really hot or they’re just horrible at pushing applications through unless you have ties. I always thought anyone with a pulse could get a CDCR job.
I heard people were leaving the tele night work for days and/or that it used to be better… They’ve snubbed me a handful of times when applying to their tele gigs in the past few years, even after giving the congrats you moved to the next stage and interview timeframes. Ominous, I guess.
