I'd like to hear from any one who has or currently is practicing optometry in the state of California. What is your scope of practice, how is the opthamologist-optometrist relationship, and where you see the profession going from here.

I practice in CA. Right now, there is an overabundance in the metropolitan areas but he Central Valley may hold some hope. However, the weather and the pollution are still quite the barrier that it always has been for family life.
