I'm a licensed pharmacist outside of Ca, but not able to pass CA.
Is tech classes necessary for getting CA pharmacy tech license?

Since you graduated from a school of pharmacy that is a qualifying method

Doubt they would let you though if you are licensed as a pharmacist elsewhere... even though the app asks to list any pharmacist licenses you hold in other states.

As long as you don't have CA pharmacist license, you can apply for CA tech license. They require high school diploma even though I graduated with a Pharmd degree. I had foreign high school diploma and no longer keep that.
