CA Pharm Tech registration

Doubtful, it needs to be pharmacy/biology related. The CA BOP is a tough nut to crack too, bc it's impossible to reach them to check on status (just ask Keiki) Hence, just trying to apply may not be a good idea. You should see if you can clerk or work as a typist in a pharmacy.
You can google for CA Board of Pharmacy and check the criteria.

At least an associate of arts degree in a field of study directly related to
the duties performed by a pharmacy technician. Directly related fields of study include; but are not limited to, health sciences, biological sciences, physical sciences, or natural sciences.
"Not limited to"...hmmm...don't know what to make of that!

You might as well try and call the board...they might not be helpful when it comes to finding out the status of an application, but you might get lucky and get your question answered.
