If someone has been offered an interview to UCSF, USC, UCSD, UOP, Touro, or WesternU please answer these questions for each school you got an interview for:

1. When is your interview date?
2. Please give a detailed description of the interview day.
3. What were the essay prompts for writing portion and how did you respond? How much time was given to complete each section/essay?
4. How was the interview process organized? What type and how many people interviewed you?
5. What were some of the interview questions they asked you and how did you respond?
6. Any tips for interview day? What should I study?
7. Do you know your acceptance status yet?

I applied to some of the schools you did plus a few others! I already got an invite to interview at northstate in Northern California.

Have you heard anything from the places you've applied?

I was invited for Northstate this Oct 3rd and UoP on Oct 17th

How was your northstate interview? We were at the same date!

I did had to reschedule Northstate, I had exams and a research project to take care of. As of now, USC - 10/17th, Northstate -10/24th, UoP 10/31st, Oregon State- 11/14th, and still gotta schedule Touro.

When you were offered the interview with touro, what dates were available? I heard that you can choose any date within the cycle and that you had to tell them the date you want one week from date of interview invitation? I also got UOP interview for 10/31, but am considering rescheduling! Did you just cancel the order on Eventbrite and switched to 10/31 because your original date was 10/17? Congrats on your USC interview! Do you mind sharing your stats?

No I actually still have reservation for 10/17th for UoP and USC, I am still deciding. You are able to cancel the day before the interview from Eventbrite. I really wanted UoP on 24th, but it is filled up =/. My stats are pretty low Overall 3.33 and Sci 3.27. I have a strong letter of Reference from an Assistant Clinical Pharmacy Professor from UCSD Skaggs, that I have been volunteering for over the past year. I will call Touro today, the last day I can respond to their invitation.

What dates are available for the Touro interviews and what time do they start?

I just called Touro and they informed me that they only interview on Wednesday and Thursday. They first interviews are next week I believe of the following week.

Just got an invitation for a UOP interview but they only had a January 9th option :/ Hopefully it's a good enough day to give me a chance to be accepted. I submitted PharmCAS and supplemental both on October 8th and PharmCAS was verified on October 24th.

I got interviewed offer from all of them. Mostly i got it around October and November. First or second cycle. I suggest you to use the "interview feedback" forum on SDN.
Essay prompts and interview questions are posted on the "interview feedback" except UCSF. USC by far has the hardest essay because we had to write argumentative essay which I did not prepare at all. I got accepted to a few of them. UOP gave me acceptance very early in october but I was debating that I want to stay SOCAL so I declined UOP. I was debating between the others and now I am left with Loma Linda University or USC. I am still waiting for USC, they put me on active consideration.

If you choose USC make sure you're willing to take on more student debt. With the higher cost of living in LA and tuition, USC is much more expensive than other pharmacy schools. Is the quality of education really justified by the cost?
