Is there a rule in the Clinicals that says a dentist cannot be a patient in the dental board exams? I know that a dentist or someone aspiring to be licensed cannot assist a candidiate in the clinicals. So what about an aspirant becoming a patient? Can the board prevent this? Will they even know???
The reason I asked is that I just recently found out that I have an ideal, virgin Class II lesion on #28 D. I would love my dentist to fix it, but...I need to find out how the clinicals are conducted first-hand. So I MIGHT have a friend do the cavity in the exams.
Any thoughts?
.
well i was going through the guidelines for ca board ,in that no where do they say about patients profession if you have a class II lesion you should may be get it done from your friend and it is good for you too you will actually know what happens during the exam ,good experience for you too!! 😀
