Hi SDN Pre-dents,

Long time lurker here but I was wondering something.

So at my school there's also a community college where you can go to take some classes at the same time (they call it "concurrent enrollment") and have them transfer over (usually only Gen.Ed. classes transfer and it's much cheaper than taking Gen.Ed. classes at the university).

I took a history class there one semester and it transferred. Does this mean I still have to submit a transcript from the community college, even though it's on my university transcript?

Also, I've taken some art/drawing classes at the community college as a side hobby. They don't count towards anything but I do get grades for them. In fact, I think my status as a student there when I took them was "non-degree seeking" or "personal enrichment" or something. Do I have to take these into account for my AADSAS GPA? I don't think they'll hurt my GPA but they're so irrelevant!

Has anyone been in a similar situation and can shed some light?

Thanks a bunch!

yes I'm pretty sure you'll have to submit all of those transcripts. Although my situation was slightly different [high school dual-enrollment classes for college credit], they required the transcripts from the college that I got the dual-enrollment credit from AND my standard 4yr university.

Thanks, I had an inkling that that would be the case.

Do math classes count towards your Science GPA?

How about ESL (English as second language) classes?
I called to ask and they said those are considered as non-science 😕
and ESL classes can be taken as many as you want
