Calculating on the DAT

It's been a few years since I last took the DAT but I'm wondering how they do the calculations on the Dat? I thought they didn't require an actual quantitative answer but rather the steps involved in finding the right answer. Is this correct?

I have no idea how to do logs and powers in my head so I'm hoping the answers are still listed under "problem set up notation"

There were both kinds on the test.....some just had the final answers while some had the calculations for answers. i think there were probably more plain answers than there were calculations. hope it helps.
