I apologize in advance if this has been asked many times, but I have unsuccessfully tried to find a concise answer using google and the search tool here on SDN. Does anyone know how exactly the podiatry schools calculate GPA when you apply? I know that the only subjects included in science are bio, chem and physics (not math), but do they do grade replacement? There was a pdf posted on the forums some time ago, but it did not address this. Thanks.

They include math. It has a singular star by that category which means it is included in your science gpa.

surfguy is right. They do not replace your grade. If you repeat a course the two grade GPAs are both added into your final GPA.

Yeah for me they took the average the two grades. They do not replace it.

Does anyone have any idea how to calculate your AACPMAS GPA from a numerical GPA system? At my school, a 3.9 is an A, so does that grade automatically drop to a 3.7 according to the AACPMAS system or will it just take my school GPA scale?
