Can those fellow SDNers who recently took DAT please confirm if the calculator in QR has a square root function?

I know the simple calculator on windows has the sq root (which I think is the same calculator version on the real thing) but I'm just going over Chad's QR and he keeps mentioning in his solution videos that the exam's calculator doesn't have the sq rt.

I would greatly appreciate if some of you can please clarify this. Thank you all in advance!!!

I asked someone who took the test here in Miami and it didn't have it. 🙁

Mine did.

But the calculator S U C K S

don't rely on it for too much. It lags. And I had to press the clear all button about a million times for it to clear.

did you feel like you needed one for many problems? or where calculations simple as to where you could do without a calculator?

Mine has a sq rt function and I definitely needed to use it for many problems. It was slow though and annoying.

Didn't need it much. Can do most of the math without it. I just used it on problems where it asked you what fraction was biggest.

I agree..
Those pesky fraction problems!!
Most everything did not require a calculator.. Round the numbers and approximation worked well.. I choked on many easy Qs though. There were a lot of trig.
